What We've Built at the 2026 World Cup — and How the AI Is Doing

AlphaPrediction forecasts every match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 — a scoreline, a win-probability split, an AI committee's read — and then grades itself in the open after each result. No cherry-picking: the ledger shows the hits and the misses. Here's what the platform can now do, and how the AI has actually performed so far.

How the AI is doing

Across 82 graded predictions, the AI has called 50 outcomes correctly (61%) and nailed 12 exact scorelines. In the knockouts it is running at 5 of 7. Confidence is calibrated, not inflated — higher-conviction picks genuinely land more often than coin-flips.

What we've built

• A reality-driven live bracket. The knockout wallchart is built from the actual draw and real scores — every tie shows the AI's pick with a ✓/✗ verdict, and a team that has lost can never advance in the projection.
• Honestly-calibrated confidence. We display each tier's realized hit-rate and refuse to advertise "80%" on any tier until it truly earns it over a real sample.
• A four-model AI committee. Independent model seats (tactics, stats/xG and more) vote per match, so one model's blind spot doesn't sink the call.
• Market-odds blending & extra-time / penalties modelling for knockout realism.
• A champion / title-race tracker and a Fill-Your-Bracket game where you pick winners and are scored live against the AI.
• In-play swing alerts on Telegram and a 24/7 freshness watchdog that keeps results current on its own.
• Full localisation — English, 中文, Bahasa Melayu and தமிழ்.

What's next

Deeper calibration as the sample grows, richer fill-your-bracket scoring through the later rounds, and more languages. Everything remains graded publicly — you can always check our work.
